Job Title: Registered Nurse - Ketamine Infusion Specialist
Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Ketamine Infusion Specialist. In this role, you will administer ketamine infusions to patients, monitor their vital signs, and ensure a safe and comfortable experience. You will work closely with physicians and the healthcare team to provide top-notch care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer IV ketamine infusions safely and effectively.
- Monitor patients during and after infusions for safety and comfort.
- Educate patients on the treatment process and potential effects.
- Record treatment details and report any adverse reactions or concerns.
- Maintain infusion equipment and supplies.
- Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Other relevant duties.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license.
- IV/infusion experience preferred
- Knowledge of ketamine therapy and its effects.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
- Compassionate and effective communicator.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time (3 12 hour shifts)
- Compensation starting at $34/hour
- Supportive and professional work environment.
- Low patient to nurse ratio, consistent schedule, paid holidays, and no more than alternating Saturdays (We are closed on Sundays).
